Dripper trackers are a recent devellopment in the solar tracking world. They are an attempt to keep tracking simple and inexpensive.

Modified clock! The minute and second hand are removed and the 2 screws hold the can lid on to the hour turning mechanism Modern solar trackers consist of photodiodes and motors that allow the equipment to chase the sun across the sky. These devices are pretty high tech. They ignore one major fact, the path of the sun across the sky has been known for thousands of years. There is no need to "track" the sun!
The sun follows a defined path at 15 degrees per hour across the sky.
All that is needed is a simple timing device to get the equipment to follow the same path.
An ordinary clock will suffice!
The following pic shows how it can be used to turn a box cooker

This project needs YOU!
YOU need to make this thing to show that it is possible.
My last project was the pulser pump which has worked for 20 years!
However nobody ever uses them because people were too darn lazy to ever post their own pulser pumps or models on the web.
